WONSEVU:   Several attend potluck supper

A potluck supper was Feb. 19 at Carriage Manner. Those attending were hostess Sandi Cunningham, Hazel Clothier, Doni Rogers, Mary Jane Grimmett, Dave Foley, Joyce Padgett, Carol Kutz, Janet Cress, and Bill and Margie Williams.

Doni Rogers visited Everett and Janet Cress Feb. 22.

Dale and Tootsie Snelling went to the junior varsity basketball tournament Feb. 22 at Marion to see their granddaughter Molly Hess play. Dale and Tootsie visited Danny and Tammy Snelling in the evening for cake and ice cream to celebrate Danny’s birthday.

Justin Jacobson and Dan Fletcher of Cedar Point visited Everett Cress Feb. 23. Everett and Janet’s grandson Ethan Goodwin of Emporia visited.

Bill and Margie Williams went to the basketball game at the college in Joplin, Mo., Feb. 22 to see their granddaughter, Samantha Soyez, play. It was senior night. Later they gathered for dinner with family.

Doni Rogers attended a family reunion Saturday at Hutchinson.

Saturday visitors of Denise and John Lang and Johnny were their daughter and grandchildren, Jessica Maddox, Dana, and Daxton of Strong City.

Julie and Kash Smith of Medicine Lodge and John and Marleen Smith of Toronto were Saturday visitors of Lonnie and Sharon Smith.

Ethan Cress visited Everett and Janet Cress Saturday and watched the Wichita State University basketball game with them. WSU won.

Bill and Margie Williams and Will Soyez went to Gary and Terry’s place in Goddard on Saturday to help Terry celebrate her birthday. Others who joined them were Elliot Soyez and Carl and Becca Williams and Sadie of Wamego. After supper, Bill, Gary, Carl, Will, and Elliot went to the championship bull-riding Kansas Star shoot-out at Mulvane.
