Peabody-Burns High School will honor senior athletes and their parents Thursday night during the home football game against Lebo.
The recognition will take place at halftime of the varsity game.
Just before halftime — at approximately 7:45 p.m. —parents will gather at the rock wall at the north end of the football field. The student athletes will accompany their parents onto the field to be introduced to the audience.
Students and parents will enter the field along the west sideline after their names have been called.
Senior cheerleaders and parents will be introduced first, followed by senior volleyball players and parents, and finally the senior members of the football team and their parents will be recognized.
“Senior parents have been sent complimentary tickets from the athletic department,” said athletic director Ray Savage. “We hope they will come be recognized with their student athlete and then stay to cheer on the Warriors.”
