Senior Citizens of Marion County will celebrate its 56th year Oct. 20 at Marion Senior Center.

A meal will be served at noon. A program by Wichita musicians Mike Ward and Mike Martin will be at 12:45 p.m.

Free-will donations will go toward a scholarship for a Marion County 2017 high school senior going into an aging-related field, such as medicine, social work, therapies, gerontology, or psychology.

Cost to attend is $5.25. Registration is due by Tuesday by contacting the county Department on Aging or a local senior center.
