SENIOR CENTER: Smith shares work as silver-haired legislator

Barb Smith gave a presentation Nov. 14 about her work as Marion County’s silver-haired legislator.
The One committee headed by Connie Omstead met that day. Members consist of site managers in the county; Gayla Ratzlaff, department on aging coordinator; and Sue Clough, president of Marion Senior Citizens.
The group observed Veterans Day by answering trivia questions. They sang a belated happy birthday to Jerry Nelson, who was away on his birthday.
Keith Allison brought treats for his birthday Nov. 13.
Teresa Eads will be delivering meals twice a week.
The center’s policy is to close if Marion schools are closed due to weather.
