Senior center plans benefit

A concert Sept. 5 will raise money to support Hillsboro Senior Center.

Featured will be baritone Michael Nansel, who is married to Hillsboro High School graduate Tonja Seibel.

Nansel, who has performed in opera houses across North America and Europe, will perform sacred, standard, Broadway, and opera after the center’s noon meal. Donations will be solicited.

Reservations are available by calling (620) 947-2304. Meals cost $4 for seniors, $7 for those younger than 60.
