Sen. Pat Roberts, R-Kans., will be in Marion County Aug. 25 as a part of a 105-county listening tour.

A luncheon at 11:45 a.m. at Wohlgemuth Music Lobby, Tabor College, Hillsboro, will proceded the program from noon to 1 p.m.

The event will be sponsored by the executive committee of the Marion County Republican Committee. Meal tickets may be purchased for $12.50 from Mel Flaming of Peabody, Rose Davidson of Marion, or Clint Seibel of Hillsboro.

Roberts is seeking a third term.
