Reed Anderson, an eighth-grader from Gruver, Texas, was named Arrowman of the Year Nov. 1 at the Nischa Achowalogen Lodge Order of the Arrow banquet in Amarillo, Texas.
The award recognizes a member for outstanding service to the Lodge.
Reed served as chapter chief, has been an active member of the ceremonies team, and participated in various lodge service projects. He is a member of Boy Scout Troop 250.
Reed is the grandson of Ron and Carolyn Anderson of Peabody and the son of Tim and Kimberly (Grossnickle) Anderson of Gruver, Texas.
