Sarah Saenz

Sarah Saenz, 99, passed away Jan. 20, 2018, in Newton, Kansas.

She was born Dec. 17, 1918, to Apolinar and Felisitas Rodriguez in Florence, Kansas.

She is survived by her daughter, Frances Martinez; sons Carlos Saenz Jr. and wife, Cheryl; and Fred Saenz; 13 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and 12 great-great-grandchildren.

Her husband, Carlos T. Saenz Sr., and many other loved ones preceded her in death.

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 24, 2018, with Rosary at 7 p.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Newton, Kansas. A funeral Mass will be 10 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 25, 2018, also at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, with internment immediately following at Prairie Lawn Cemetery in Peabody, Kansas.

Memorials are suggested to Asbury Park Cottage 212 and Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church.
