Runners race under stormy skies

Despite stormy skies, five Peabody-Burns athletes ran in the home cross-country meet Thursday.
For the 5-kilometer junior varsity boys’ competition, Jayden Hutchison placed 19th with a time of 22:27.
In the girls’ junior varsity 4K race, Andrea Kubickova placed fifth with a time of 21:23. Fenja Lang placed 11th with a time of 23:39. Paige Murray finished 18th with a time of 26:44.
In the seventh-grade boys’ 1-mile, Jack Park finished eighth with a time of 7 minutes flat.
