Rufus D. Unrau, 79, of Lehigh died Nov. 22, 2013, at Parkside Homes in Hillsboro. He was born Dec. 19, 1933, to Rufus B. and Mathilda (Nikkel) Unrau in Goessel.

Survivors include his wife, Leola M. Unrau of Hillsboro; sons, Brian (Danita) of rural Lehigh and Kendall of Lehigh; daughter, De Vonne (Rex) Abrahams of Canton; brothers, Glen and Robert; sister, Shirley Unruh; grandchildren, Brodie, Megan, Darcy, Dustin, and Lindsay; great-grandchild, Cadence.

Celebration of Life service was Friday, Nov. 29, 2013, at Hillsboro M.B. Church. Family received guests Nov. 27 at Jost Funeral Home.
