A woman was taken to Herington Municipal Hospital Monday with minor injuries incurred in a rollover accident on U.S. 56/77 near 330th Road in Marion County.
Herington Ambulance was the first EMS service called and the first responder on the scene. Lost Springs and Marion fire departments also responded.
The Kansas Highway patrol report states that Annette K. Walters of Andover was northbound on U.S. 56/77, drifted onto the gravel shoulder, corrected back onto the highway, and then overcorrected back off the roadway. The maneuver caused the vehicle to roll twice before settling approximately 50 feet from the highway in a grass field.
Walters was driving her 2008 Pontiac G6 which was totaled in the accident.
