WONSEVU:   Rogers watches Old Settlers' Day Parade

Doni Rogers went to Marion on Sept. 26 to watch the Old Settlers’ Day Parade. Janet Cress and Shealah West also attended.

Dinner guests of Janet Cress on Sept. 27 were her daughter Shealah West and husband, Dave, from Newton.

During the Sept. 25 weekend, Janet Cress visited her son Brandon Cress and his family in Cedar Point.

Dale and Tootsie Snelling went to Emporia on Sept. 24. On their way back, they stopped in Strong City to visit Doni Rogers.

Dale and Toosie went to the homecoming football game Sept. 25 in Marion. They then went to the Old Settlers’ Day Parade on Sept. 26 and visited with people.

Dean Snelling had his 25-year class reunion. Leann Lewman had her 30th. They went to the park for lunch and spent the afternoon visiting in the park.

Lorena Magathan, Ana Valkenen, and Margie Williams met Sept. 25 in Florence for pie and coffee.

Bill and Margie Williams visited Carl and Becca Williams, Sadie and Lucy on Sept. 26 in Wamego.

Margie Williams and others helped celebrate her great-granddaughter’s first birthday. Grandparents, great-grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins were all present. Bill and Margie came home with Gary and Teeny Williams and stopped in Florence on the way home. Dale and Tootsie Snelling also joined.
