Robert Eugene VanBuskirk, 78, of Peabody, died Jan. 16 at Newton Medical Center.

He was born April 3, 1932, in Neodesha to Harold Francis and Amelia M. (Goodwin) VanBuskirk.

He was a truck driver.

He and his wife Sharon were married Oct. 7, 1988.

Survivors include his wife, Sharon of Peabody and a daughter, Vanna, of Gladstone, Mo.

A private family service is being planned.

A memorial has been established with First Baptist Church of Peabody.
