Fourth of July guests of Julia Smith and Kash were Justin and Sara Smith and boys of Marion and Janin and Josh Hess. They set off fireworks in the evening.
Janet Cress attended the funeral service of Joann Thompson July 2 in Elmdale. Bill and Margie Williams also attended.
Guests July 3 of Janet Cress were Randy and Shannon Foster and Ryan Foster of Des Moines, Iowa. On July 4 they went to Newton for a barbecue. The Fosters returned home July 5.
Bill and Margie Williams visited Hazel Clothier July 5 in Florence to celebrate her 94th birthday.
Dinner guest of Bill and Margie July 6 was grandson Carl Williams of Wamego.
July 4th weekend guests of Dale and Tootsie Snelling were Mark and Leann Leman of Kiowa, Levi of Sedgwick, Adam Cope of Florence, Dean Snelling of Goessel, and Danny and Tammy Snelling, Tristen and Seth of Marion. Night visitors of the Snellings were Doni Rogers, Dare and Amber Griffin and Hanna, Brandon and Breanna Lespagnard and girls of Missouri. They played in the creek, made homemade ice cream, and shot off fireworks.
Langs visit in New Mexico
John and Denise Lang went to Eagle Nest, New Mexico on July 6. John did some fishing with a friend. The couple also attended a Ringo Starr concert. They returned home July 11.

Bill and Margie Williams visited their son Gary Williams at Goddard on July 12. They had lunch together at Hog Wild in Wichita.
