Remy, Wiles partner final time for spring program

For the 10th and final time, music instructor Lynley Remy and physical education instructor Stan Wiles will collaborate in presenting the Centre Elementary School (K-6) spring program at 7 p.m. Friday in Centre High School gymnasium.

The presentation has become a highly anticipated annual event.

Wiles is retiring at the end of the year after more than 25 years at Centre, and Remy will be moving to a full-time band and choir position at CHS.

Calling it “Our Greatest Hits,” they will present a program that incorporates their favorite songs and activities of the past 10 years.

Each grade will do a separate activity, and K-4 and fifth-sixth graders will combine to present musical numbers.

The program will conclude with a song dedicated to Wiles, “When It’s Time to Say Good-Bye.”
