He was born Jan. 19, 1923, in Marion County, to David D. and Lydia (Schmidt) Buller.
He married Evelyn Reimer on April 6, 1946, at Tabor Mennonite Church in rural Marion County.
An active member of Zion Mennonite Church, Elbing, he was a retired stockman and farmer.
His parents and a sister, Hilda Regier, preceded him in death.
Survivors include his wife, of North Newton; two sons, Duane of Hesston and Kenton of Newton; three daughters, Elaine Epp of Beatrice, Neb., Raeanne Wiebe of Peabody, and Karen Esau of Lincoln, Neb.; five brothers, Harold of Newton, Wesley and Clarence of Lawrence, Arlo of Dallas, and Lloyd of Houston; two sisters, Elizabeth Niles of Appleton, Wis., and Pearl Goertz of Lindea, Wash.; 13 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Services were to be at 2:30 p.m. today at Zion Mennonite Church, Elbing. The Pastor Bruce Bradshaw was to officiate.
Burial was to be in Zion Mennonite Cemetery, Elbing.
