Principal to focus on history

Tim Bumgarner, principal of Frederic Remington High School, Whitewater, will discuss Kansas education at a 7 p.m. meeting Nov. 5 at the high school.

He will look at the history of public education in Kansas from the one-room school to the current system.

He also will share the state board of education’s new vision for public education and the new strategies and techniques being tried across the state.
