What to watch for

There doesn’t need to be any sub-plot when these two Marion County rivals hook-up, but in the case of Thursday’s game there is one bigger than the rivalry.

With identical 1-1 records in district play, the winner of this season finale goes on to the playoffs, with the loser staying home.

Both teams have a superb offense, and this game will come down to how well each defense executes.

Hillsboro allows 23 points per game, and Marion 13, but throw all stats out the window when these teams play each other.
