What to watch for

This is a re-match of the 1995 3A state championship game.

The Warriors’ only two losses that season were to a loaded Spartans team that featured several Divsion I players.

Warrior head coach Grant Thierolf, who coached MHS in that game, isn’t worried about the past.

He wants to see how his veteran bunch handles the fourth-ranked team in the state.

A key component to the game will be the Warriors’ offensive line play. It must be successful for Marion to win the game.
