to feature Scribner Ranch

Pioneer Bluffs’ next Prairie Talk will feature members of Scribner Ranch from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Aug. 8.

Three brothers — David, Sterling and Doug Scribner — still work on their family’s cattle operation in Butler County.

“The Scribners will share the history of their ranch, discuss their daily work, and offer insights into the traditions and challenges of modern ranching in the Flint Hills,” a press release states.
