Oct. 9: Officers assisted with Walk Your Child to School day. VIN inspections were provided. An outside agency received assistance with an investigation. A dog was transported to Animal Health Center of Marion County. Officers worked on reports. The sheriff’s department received assistance at the jail. A civil standby was provided. Response was given to a domestic dispute. Street lights were checked. An open business door was found. Peabody Police Department received assistance with a burglary in-progress. An officer met with a concerned citizen.

Follow-up investigations and traffic stops were conducted. VIN inspections were provided. A noise complaint was filed. EMS received assistance with a call. Response was given to a fire near Marion Historical Museum.
Oct. 11: Three bicycles were recovered at Marion High School. Radar was run on Main Street. Traffic stops and VIN inspections were conducted. A telephone harassment complaint was filed. A welfare check was made. Officers worked on reports.
Oct. 12: A bicycle was found at the football field. Officers participated in firearms training and worked on reports. Response was given to a 911 hang-up. Follow-up investigations were conducted.
