ACTIVITY REPORTS

County police departments provided these summaries of their activities this past week:

HILLSBORO

May 21 — A vehicle was reported stolen in the 400 block of S. Main St. Officers also investigated a harassment complaint and assisted in a child welfare investigation.

May 22 — A dog complaint in the 300 block of N. Lincoln St., a delayed report of a domestic disturbance, and a disturbance in the 300 block of S. Birch St. were investigated.

Todd Redger, 36, Hillsboro, was arrested on suspicion of domestic battery, criminal damage to property, and theft.

May 23 — A noise complaint in the 100 block of S. Birch St. and a report of children playing on a generator at Scout House were investigated.

May 24 — Police investigated a possible identity theft, an attempt to break into a vehicle in the 100 block of S. Main St., suspicious activities in the 100 block of S. Cedar St. and in the 100 block of S. Main St., an abandoned vehicle at the fairgrounds, and a disturbance in the 100 block of S. Date St. The disturbance turned out being people talking loudly

Thursday — An unwanted guest was removed in the 300 block of N. Lincoln St. and resident of the 900 block of E. D St. was checked on.

Friday — A hit-and-run accident, a report of a vehicle abandoned in the 100 block of W D St., a dog complaint in the 300 block of N. Madison St., a harassment complaint in the 300 block of N. Birch St., and a report of a disturbance in the 400 block of W. B St. were investigated.

Police also cited a juvenile for a curfew violation, returned lost property to owner, and investigated a commercial alarm in Hillsboro Heights subdivision.
