May 14 — Reports of violation of a no-contact order and reckless driver were investigated.

May 15 — An animal complaint in the 200 block of Grandview St. and a report of a skunk in the 100 block of S. Adams St. were investigated. A search warrant for allegedly stolen property was executed in the 400 block of S. Jefferson St.; however, the property was not found. A burglary complaint at Tabor College involving a stolen Xbox and a noise complaint in the 100 block of S. Main St were investigated.

May 16 — Reports of suspicious activity at 1st and Jefferson Sts., a reckless driver at the sports complex, and a tree down in the 400 block of S. Ash St. were investigated. A minor traffic accident at Ash St. and US-56 was investigated.

May 17 —Reports of a sick opossum at the municipal golf course, a suspicious vehicle at the fairgrounds, and a domestic disturbance in the 200 block of N. Lincoln St. were investigated.

Thursday — A harassment complaint in the 500 block of E. D St. was investigated. Lost property was turned into the department. Weather was monitored.

Friday — A dog running free in the 300 block of N. Main St. was investigated.

Saturday — A child custody dispute was investigated. An unattended death in the 200 block of Elm St. was investigated.

May 15 — A dog running free was located in the 400 block of N. Lincoln St. but eluded capture. Another dog owner was assisted in capturing the pet. A report of a reckless driver was investigated. A stranded motorist was assisted.

May 16 — A report of a possible prohibited dog breed within city limits was investigated; the animal was determined not to be a prohibited breed. A oral warning for speeding was issued.

May 17 — A citation for no child restraint was issued. A report of a dog running free in the 400 block of Elm St. was investigated; the dog was located, and its owner was contacted.

Thursday — A motorist stranded on US-56 near Eisenhower Rd. was checked. Information on a report of possible battery that occurred in another jurisdiction was passed on to the appropriate department. A report of suspicious activity in the 1500 block of E. Lawrence St. was investigated; no report was taken, as everything was OK. A non-injury accident on US-56 near Industrial Rd. was investigated.

Friday — A dog running free on Forest St. was captured and taken to Animal Health Center. A report of a dog running free near Cedar and Weldon Sts. was investigated, but officers were unable to locate the animal. Traffic control was provided in the 600 block of E. Main St. after a large tree in Central Park fell into the roadway. An orall warning for speeding on US-56 was issued.

Saturday — Police met with two juveniles regarding a lost phone. A possible violation of a protection from abuse order in the 400 block of S. Coble St. was investigated.
