May 15 — A report of an out-of-control juvenile in the 400 block of S. Main St. was investigated during which a teen was taken into police protective custody and transported to juvenile intake. A noise complaint in the 300 block of N. Jefferson St. was investigated.

May 16 — A lost cell phone was tracked and returned to its owner, a welfare check in the 400 block of N. Ash St. was performed, and a report of a reckless driver in the 200 block of S. Adams St. was investigated.

May 17 — A report of harassment and assault involving two juveniles who each alleged the other was the aggressor was investigated. A 911 disconnect in the 700 block of W. Grand St., a report of an IRS phone scam, a dog-at-large complaint in the 300 block of N. Madison St., and a verbal domestic disturbance in the 400 block of S. Ash St. were investigated.

Thursday — A man requested a restraining order against his mother who he alleged was harassing him. A report of a stranded woman in the 500 block of S. Ash St. was investigated. It was discovered she had been dropped off at a mental health center by an acquaintance who allegedly told her that the center would furnish transportation. A trespass complaint in the 400 block of N. Ash St. was investigated.

Friday — A harassment complaint in the 400 block of N. Ash St., report of a suspicious vehicle in the 300 block of N. Lincoln St., and commercial alarm in the 500 block of E. D St. were investigated.

Saturday — A welfare concern in the 400 block of N. Ash St., trespass complaint in the 400 block of N. Ash St., and dog complaint in the 400 block of W. Grand St. were investigated. A dog-at-large citation was issued.

Sunday — A non-injury accident in the 300 block of N. Madison St., dog-at-large complaint in the 200 block of W. Grand St., and two parking complaints in the 100 and 200 blocks of S. Birch St. were investigated.

May 17 — Reports of children not being restrained properly in a vehicle and a verbal domestic disturbance in the 200 block of N. First St. were investigated.

May 18 — New 800 MHz radios were tested, a verbal warning for a headlamp was issued, and a foot patrol of downtown businesses was conducted.

Thursday — Non-injury accidents in the 300 block of N. Roosevelt and 1200 block of E. Main St were investigated, and a fall victim in the 100 block of Eisenhower St. was assisted.

Friday — School zones were patrolled, a report of possible fraud in the 700 block of N. Cedar St. was investigated, verbal warnings for speeding in the 300 block of N. Cedar St. and a brake lamp out were issued, and two people were discovered in Central Park after curfew and told to leave.

Saturday — A report of a person walking in the middle of 190th was passed on to sheriff’s deputies. A non-injury accident in the 400 block of W. Santa Fe St was investigated. Verbal warning for a tag light out near US-56 and Eisenhower St. was issued. Canine officer Legion was deployed to a traffic stop in the 1800 block of US-77.

Saturday — Verbal warnings for speeding near US-56 and Ridge Rd. and no tag light were issued.
