Hillsboro

Sept. 6 — A report of people in a vehicle behind Hillsboro Elementary School turned out to juveniles on motorized scooters that had been playing on playground equipment. There was a non-injury accident in Hillsboro Heights, and a domestic disturbance in the 400 block of S. Main St.

Sept. 7 — After a report of a possible break-in, officers cleared a residence in the 100 block of N. Madison St. and found no signs of forced entry.

Sept. 9 — A man was removed from a property in the 400 block of S Main St. as part of a protection-from-abuse order. An out-of-control juvenile was reported in the 300 block of N. Madison St.

Thursday — A pedestrian reported being harassed by a motorist while walking near 2nd and Lincoln Sts. Complaints involving traffic, parking, and a reckless driver were investigated.

Saturday — Two juveniles, who reportedly ran away from the football field, were located by officers who did not consider them runaways. A victim of a scam was reported by the Postal Inspector’s Office.

Sunday — There was a dog complaint in the 200 block of W. B St. and a domestic disturbance in the 100 block of N. Washington St. Suspicious activity was investigated in the Memorial Park.
