Aug. 3 — An attempted break-in was investigated in the 100 block of W. A St. A motorist was ticked for speeding. A suspicious bike rider was investigated.
Aug. 4 — A reckless driver was investigated in relation to an equipment violation. A property dispute also was investigated.
Aug. 5 — An arrest was made in a domestic battery investigation. Tickets were issued to motorists for speeding, illegal tags, failure to have a valid license, and an equipment violation. Juveniles were investigated for allegedly trespassing and causing damage to vehicles. An alarm that went off at The Lumberyard was discovered to be weather-related.
Aug. 6 — A disturbance in the 400 block of Ash St was investigated. A motorist was ticked for an equipment violation.
Thursday — A speeding ticket was issued.
Friday — Curfew was enforced.
Saturday — A burglary was investigated in the 200 block of S. Main St. A disturbance was investigated in the 400 block of E. Grand Ave. Tickets were issued for speeding and passing in a no-passing zone.

Aug. 4 — Police took a complaint ofa barking dog in the 600 block of W. 3rd St. Animal control was contacted.
Aug. 5 — A trespassing complaint was filed and is under investigation by police.
Friday — Officers responded to and assisted in a situation with an out-of-control juvenile.
Saturday — Police took a report of criminal damage to property at 708 N. Vine St.
Sunday —A report from a resident at Westview Manor about criminal activity was found to be baseless.
