June 28 — A report of theft in Hillsboro Heights also developed into a harassment complaint.
June29 — There was an unattended death in the 200 block of S. Madison.
June 30 — A 15-year-old was taken into custody for battery and transported to juvenile intake after a report of a disturbance in the 300 block of S. Birch. A person reported receiving harassing phone calls in the 300 block of S. Birch St. Stolen property was returned to owner; there was a dog complaint in the 300 block of N. Ash.; and a child custody dispute in the 900 block of E. D St.
July 1 — A person reported being harassed by a neighbor, who was also a relative, in the 100 block of N. Jefferson St. An egg was thrown at a car in the 100 block of N. Jefferson St. An out-of-control juvenile in the 300 block of S. Birch St. was delivered to a shared custody parent. A suspicious package in the 900 block of E. D St. was turned in to the police office. A harassment compliant in the 300 block of S. Birch St. and a commercial alarm at Hillsboro Heights were investigated.
Thursday — An abandoned vehicle was reported in the 100 block of S. Main St. A harassment complaint was investigated in the 100 block of N. Cedar St.
Friday — A reckless driver was reported at B and Birch Sts. Suspicious activity was investigated in the 100 block of N. Main St.
Saturday — There was an injury accident in the 300 block of N. Main St., a missing iPad was reported, a missing dog reported, warnings issued for fireworks violations, and a possible protection from abuse order violation in the 200 block of N. Cedar St.

June 29 — A dog-at-large complaint was taken and investigated. Charges will be filed.
July 2 — Police opened a case of battery, criminal trespass, and disorderly conduct. A report was taken from David Orcutt about a stolen vehicle. The vehicle has since been recovered.
