April 5: A possible attempted suicide was reported in Hillsboro Heights for which the person was transported by ambulance to Hillsboro Community Hospital. There was a littering complaint in the 200 block of S. Washington, a suspicious vehicle in the 500 block of E. D St, and a phone harassment complaint in the 300 block of Birch St.

April 6: An identity theft was reported. Possible child abuse also was reported; however, after investigation police discovered the case had already been reported and investigated.

April 7: Officers worked on weather watch equipment.

April 8: There was a report of suspicious activity at Hillsboro Water Plant. Officers checked suspicious activity downtown. The weather watch station was checked because of the possibility of severe weather.

Thursday: A trespass complaint involving several cars that were left on private property without permission from the owner was investigated in the 100 block of E. D St. Officers discovered that the vehicles were placed there to avoid possible severe weather.

Friday: There was a report of suspicious activity in the 200 block of S. Birch St. Officers also checked on suspicious activity in the 100 block of E. Grand St.

Saturday: There was a report of a suspicious person in Memorial Park. Officers assisted with a power outage, and responded to a 911 disconnect in the 600 block of S. Main St.
