Sept. 14: Officer took a report of a reckless driver and a dog complaint.

Sept. 15: Police responded to a report of an unknown person ringing a residence doorbell late at night.

Sept. 16: Officers attended active shooter training, took a dog bite complaint, and responded to a report of horses at large near city limits on Indigo St.

Sept. 17: Police took a report of an abandoned vehicle and attended safety training.

Thursday: Officers assisted with lockdown exercises at USD 410, took a report of a bicycle theft, and spoke with a person about paying an impound fee before they could retrieve their dog from the vet clinic.

Friday: Police responded to a residential lockout and cleared vehicles, and assisted Arts and Crafts Fair officials.

Saturday: Officers provided security and traffic control at the Arts and Crafts Fair, took numerous parking complaints, a loitering complaint, and a report of a misuse of a financial card.

PEABODY POLICE

Sept. 15: Police opened a case of physical abuse to a child. It remains under investigation with the Department of Children and Families. A report was taken of a juvenile runaway that included criminal trespass and disorderly conduct. The case is under investigation.

Sept. 17: Suspicious activity in the business district was reported to police. Officers opened a case of an inoperable vehicle at 215 E. Division St.

Thursday: Police took a report of theft in the 200 block of Spruce St.

Friday: Police assisted with the recovery of stolen property, which was returned to its owner.
