Activity reports

Law enforcement agencies provided these reports of their activities this past week. Routine activities such as patrols, inspections, training, report-writing, and assistance to other agencies are excluded.

Hillsboro

March 24 – A commercial alarm was reported in the 900 block of E. D St., but everything was OK. An individual reported being harassed on social media, and sought a prevention from stalking order. A welfare check was done in the 300 block of S. Ash St., and everything was OK.

March 26 – A parking complaint was reported in the 100 block of W. A St. A report was made of an individual refusing to leave Hillsboro Community Hospital when requested to do so.

March 27 – A parking complaint was reported at Adams and C Sts. A motorist received assistance in the 100 block of N. Jefferson St. for a flat tire. A reportedly suicidal individual in the 300 block of S. Ash St. was transported to a medical facility for evaluation.

March 28 – A welfare check was done in the 200 block of N. Jefferson St., and everything was OK. A welfare check was done in the 500 block of E. D St., and everything was OK. An abandoned vehicle was checked at US-56 and Goldenrod Rd., but everything was OK. A commercial alarm was reported in the 300 block of N. Ash St., but everything was OK.

March 29 – A motorist received assistance with a vehicle lockout.

March 30 – A 911 disconnect was reported in the 400 block of S. Jefferson St., but everything was OK.

Marion

March 25 – An individual reported his wallet missing. Officers received a report of a missing dog. Its owner was out looking for it.

March 26 – An individual reported a mailbox being struck, but no official report was made.

March 27 – A gas skip incident was reported in the 1200 block of E. Main St., but no vehicle matching the description was been located. An individual received assistance removing the battery from her riding lawn mower. A civil standby was done in the 600 block of S. Freeborn St. A loose dog in the 100 block of N. Roosevelt St. was taken to Animal Health Center.

March 28 – A motorist was warned near Main St. and Eastmoor Dr. for no brake light. A motorist received a citation on US-56 near Cedar St. for speeding.

March 29 – A motorist was warned in the 900 block of N. Cedar St. for speeding. A welfare check was done in the 400 block of N. Cedar St., and everything was OK. A commercial alarm was reported in the 1100 block of E. Main St., but everything was OK.

March 30 – Officers returned a phone call in reference to questions about a protection order.

March 31 – A motorist was warned in the 400 block of E. Main St. for speeding.

Peabody

March 25 – A theft of prescription narcotics was reported in the 300 block of N. Locust St., but no suspect has been located.

March 27 – A burglary was reported in the 400 block of N. Plum St. Nothing was confirmed taken, and no suspect has been located.

March 31 – A trespassing order was made in the 100 block of W. 6th St. A juvenile sexual assault case was opened.
