INCIDENT REPORTS
Law enforcement agencies provided these reports of their activities this past week. Routine activities such as patrols, inspections, training, report-writing, and assistance to other agencies are excluded.
HILLSBORO
Dec. 16 — Suspicious activity in the 300 block of N. Ash St. and a traffic complaint at Orchard Dr. and Ash St. were investigated.
Dec. 17 — Police investigated a speeding complaint on Adams St. and a traffic complaint at 190th and Jade Rds.
Dec. 18 — Suspicious activity in the 300 block of N. Madison St. and what turned out to be a false report of a disturbance in the 900 block of E. D St. were investigated.
Dec. 20 — An accident with injuries in the 200 block of S. Main St. and a dog complaint on Date St. were investigated.
Dec. 21 — Police picked up roadway trash in the 900 block of E. D St.
Dec. 22 — Police checked on a report of a suspicious person that, according to monitored transmissions, resulted in a lockdown at Hillsboro Community Hospital. A child custody dispute, a dog complaint in the 300 block of N. Madison St., and a report of a reckless driver in the 200 block of S. Birch St. also were investigated.
Marion
Dec. 20 — A call was received of possible harassment, but no report was filed. A suspicious vehicle in the park was investigated. A warning was issued near Main and Lincoln Sts. for no taillight and having a taglight out.
Dec. 21 — Officers received a parking complaint on Nickerson St. A suspicious vehicle in the park, and a parking complaint in the 300 block of S. Roosevelt were investigated. A vehicle was reported stolen in the 800 block of E. Main St. It was later located in an accident on 190th Rd. west of Mustang Rd.
Dec. 22 — A dog at large was reported in the 700 block of E. Main St. but police were unable to catch it. A citation was issued for speeding 78 mph in a 65 mph zone on US-56.
Dec. 23 — A warning was issued for speeding on US-56. A warning was issued for no child restraint near Walnut and Main Sts. A search warrant was issued for drug possession in the 500 block of S. Third St.
