June 29: Officers checked suspicious activity in the 100 block of N. Main St.
June 30: Police took a harassment complaint and numerous fireworks complaints, and investigated whether a juvenile stole fireworks.
July1: Officers investigated a suspicious vehicle in the 900 block of E. D St., took several fireworks complaints, and issued two tickets for parking on grass.
July 2: Officers dealt with a landlord and tenant dispute, took a dog complaint, and responded to a commercial alarm in Hillsboro Heights. Police also took a report of a person whose email had allegedly been hacked.
Thursday: Officers took a dog complaint, responded to a landlord and tenant dispute, and issued two parking on the grass tickets. Police were called to the 300 block of S. Birch St. to remove an unwanted person.
Friday: Officers took a report of reckless driving, responded to a commercial alarm in Hillsboro Heights, and took a shoplifting complaint.
Saturday: Officers responded to a report of a problematic juvenile in the 300 block of N. Birch St., took trespass and fireworks complaints, and checked on an individual walking down the middle of Indigo Rd.

June 23: Officers picked up a dog at large and took it to Animal Health Center.
June 24: Officers took a report of fuel leaking from a motorcycle at HRK and investigated a report of an intoxicated person. Police took a dog-at- large complaint and arrested Nancy Garcia, 39, Marion, on suspicion of disorderly conduct, theft, and trespassing. Officers also investigated suspicious and unattended vehicles on Main St.
June 25: Officers took a report of battery of a juvenile. Police conducted a traffic stop for and arrested Travis Grosse, 37, Marion, on suspicion of driving while his license was suspended.
June 26: Officers investigated reports of a fight, took a traffic complaint and investigated suspicious activity that turned out to be a prank.
June 27: Officers found an abandoned bike on 2nd and Miller Sts.
June 28: Officers gave a fireworks warning.
June 29: Police investigated a report of a burglary and criminal damage to property.
June 30: Officers took reports of a criminal trespass and investigated a dog at large. The owner was contacted, and the animal was picked up.
July 1: Police took a report of harassment, responded to a disturbance, and conducted a traffic stop in which Garry Byrd, 55, and Brandy Keane, 33, both of McPherson, were arrested on suspicion of possession of drug paraphernalia and transportation of an open container.
July 2: Officers investigated a dog at large.
Thursday: Officers issued a citation for driving with no proof of insurance. Police investigated a report of people on railroad tracks in Jex addition and investigated stolen property.
Friday: Police arrested Taylor Brown,20, and Willard Davis IV, 26, both of Salina, on suspicion of possession of marijuana and paraphernalia.
Saturday: Police responded to 12 fireworks complaints and reports of two dogs at large, and took a report of stalking and criminal trespass. Officers also arrested Joyce Loomis, 42, and Ronald Rainey, 40, of Marion on suspicion of transportation of open containers.
Sunday: Officers took a report of fireworks being discharged after the allotted days and arrested Mary Hagan, 43, and Martha Barto, 62, both of Trenton, Missouri, on charges of violating a protection order.
PEABODY
June 30: Police took a report of fuel theft in the 700 block of Chestnut St.. Charges are pending.
Saturday: Police took a report of damage to a trailer. Officers found a dog and turned it over to animal control. A juvenile runaway was found in Marion and returned.
Sunday : Lewis R. Litton of Peabody was charged with drinking in public, being a pedestrian under the influence, and possessing of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Officers also took a report of theft.
