Hillsboro police

Nov. 10: Officers responded to reports of a property dispute, domestic disturbance, and an identity theft complaint.

Nov. 11: Police returned lost property, took a dog complaint, and addressed a curfew violation.

Nov. 12: Officers took a traffic complaint and a parking complaint. Police also addressed a domestic disturbance.

Nov. 13: Police responded to a report of a juvenile with a firearm. Upon investigation, officers discovered that the item was not a firearm. Police also took a report of a property dispute, responded to a noise complaint, a dog complaint, and checked on suspicious activity.

Nov. 14: Officers responded to reports of a stolen bicycle, a minor traffic accident, a parking complaint, and a noise complaint, and removed debris from the roadway. Police also responded to a report of a possible stolen vehicle in which the vehicle was located in the possession of the victim’s underage son and the juvenile was cited. Officers also took a report of suspicious activity on Tabor campus in which police discovered someone had stolen license plates from several vehicles. The plates were located and returned.

Nov. 15: Police took a noise complaint, a harassment complaint, and a report of an abandoned vehicle.


Oct. 29: Officers provided an outside assist to Marion County Sheriff’s Department on a death investigation.

Oct. 30: Police investigated a report of criminal damage to property. The report has been determined to be a civil matter. Officers responded to a verbal domestic situation. No arrests were made. Police took an information report on another matter.

Oct. 31: Police took an information report of a cell phone being hacked. Police took a report of theft of narcotics and criminal possession of a schedule one drug.

Nov. 2: Officers assisted Emergency Medical Services personnel with a code blue situation.

Nov. 4: Police took a trespassing report. Michael Strotkamp, Peabody, was charged with driving with an expired tag.

Nov. 6: Police provided an assist service.

Nov. 7: Police took an information report. Officers took a report of theft of narcotics from Peabody Care Center and the case is under investigation.

Nov. 9: Austin Behm was charged with driving while suspended.

Nov. 10: Police arrested Ashley Bottiger on a Peabody Municipal Court warrant.

Nov. 12: Police took a report of identity theft and are assisting with an investigation. Fortino Fierro-Espinoza, Kansas City, was charged with driving with a suspended license.

Nov. 13: Officers performed a U.S. government record check. A case of burglary, theft, and criminal damage to property was opened — there are no suspects at this time. An information report was taken about a juvenile situation.

Nov. 14: A report of criminal trespass was taken and the case is complete. It will be filed In Marion County District Court.
