ACTIVITY REPORTS

Law enforcement agencies provided these reports of their activities this past week. Routine activities such as patrols, inspections, training, report-writing, and assistance to other agencies are excluded. Dates may reflect starting or ending dates of officers’ shifts rather than actual dates of occurrence.

HILLSBORO

April 24 — Wallets were removed during early morning hours from two unlocked vehicles in a Tabor College parking lot.

April 25 — No problems were found in checking on a resident of the 100 block of N. Jefferson St.

April 26 — A resident complained about neighbors parking in front of a mailbox.

Thursday — A catalytic converter was reported stolen from a Tabor College van. A resident of the 1000 block of S. Ash St. was warned about playing music too loud. Neighbors in the 200 block of S. Main St. complained about stray cats. A resident of the 600 block of S. Ash St. was cited for having a barking dog.

Friday — Routine activities.

Saturday — A mailbox on US-56 at Indigo Rd. was struck after a blowout caused a driver to lose control of a rented truck. A reportedly suspicious person near Casey’s General Store was not located. No problems were found in checking on a resident of the 200 block of S. Lincoln St. A driver in the 300 block of N. Ash St. was warned about an equipment violation.

Sunday — Police helped a person find a place to camp for the night. A dog reportedly running free near Memorial Park was not located. Questions about court procedures were answered.
