Law enforcement agencies provided these reports of their activities this past week. Routine activities such as patrols, inspections, training, report-writing, and assistance to other agencies are excluded.
Hillsboro
Aug. 24 — An animal welfare report was made in the 200 block of E. C St. Eddie J. Farner, 38, Tampa, was arrested after a traffic stop at US-56 and K-15 on suspicion of driving with a suspended license. Tabor College students were cited for having an illegally parked vehicle near Adams and C Sts.
Aug. 25 — Tabor College students were cited for having an illegally parked vehicle near Adams and C Sts. A driving complaint was investigated on US-56. Bicyclists were warned for riding bikes at night without lights.
Aug. 26 — A motorist was warned for speeding. A person reported being harassed during a telephone call.
Thursday — A complaint was made of a motorist speeding on D St. but the vehicle was not found. A non-injury accident was investigated at Tabor’s visitor center. A report was made of a dog running free in the 300 block of N. Main St.
Friday — A motorist was cited for parking illegally in the 400 block of S. Adams St. A gas leak was reported in the 1100 block of Bradford Court. A loud noise reported in the 200 block of S. Main St. proved to be a person working on a vehicle.
Saturday — A motorist was cited for speeding at 180th and Indigo Rds. Door-to-door salesmen were warned for working in the city without a permit.
Sunday — Motorists were cited for failing to stop at a stop sign and speeding in the 400 block of N. Ash St., for speeding in the 200 block of E. D St., and a motorist was warned for speeding in the 300 block of E. D St. Bicyclists were warned for riding bikes at night without lights.

Aug. 24 — People were warned for trespassing at Dollar General. A non-injury accident in the 1000 block of E. Main St. was investigated. A report of fuel theft was made at Marion Senior Center.
Aug. 25 — A complaint was made about juveniles riding an ATV several days earlier. Officers answered questions about a protection order.
Aug. 26 — An accident on private property was investigated in the 1000 block of Commercial Dr. A parking complaint was made in the 100 block of S. 3rd St. A motorist was cited for failing to yield in near Roosevelt and Weldon Sts., and a motorist was warned for having a taillight out near Main and Arbor Sts.
Thursday — A report was made of two pigs running free in the 600 block of N. Cedar St. but no pigs were found. Report of a protection order violation was made. Loose pigs reported earlier in the day were caught and returned to their owner, who was warned for violating city ordinance. A possibly suspicious person reported on Tanglewood St. was someone out for a walk.
Saturday — A driving complaint was made on Burbridge St. but no vehicle was found. Officers returned a call about stolen property.
Sunday — Police assisted a motorist whose vehicle ran out of gas in the 900 block of E. Main St.
