Maynard Knepp and Carol Duerksen’s farm northeast of Goessel will be abuzz with activity Saturday during the 14th Day on the Farm.
Activities will run from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Demonstrations will include pig catching, goat tending, rope making, and use of branding irons.
Children will have a chance to catch a pig or milk a goat, take a horseback ride, or ride in a tractor-pulled wagon. They will be able to pet farm animals, see donkeys and llamas, and climb through a maze of hay bales.
Mennonite Agri-Urban Inc. sponsors Day on the Farm, which is intended to build connections between rural and urban families.
The Duerksen and Knepp farm is at 1582 Falcon Road.
