Players voted to all-league teams

Three Peabody-Burns High School athletes were selected to the Heart of America all-league teams for their performance during 2009-10 basketball season.

Senior Jacob Simmonds was selected to the all-league first team. He shot 52 percent from the field and 62 percent from the free-throw line. He averaged 9.2 rebounds, 4 assists, 4 steals, and 1.5 blocks per game. He averaged 16.4 points per game. He is the son of Brian and Sheryl Simmonds of Peabody.

Senior Aaron Topham was selected to the all-league second team for shooting 39.6 percent from the field and 65 percent from the free-throw line. He averaged 3.5 rebounds, 1.3 assists, 1.9 steals, and averaged 10.1 points per game. He is the son of Greg and Kim Topham of Peabody.

Senior Danielle Savage was selected to the all-league honorable mention team. Savage averaged 11.5 points, 7.8 rebounds, and 1.6 steals per game. She is the daughter of Ray and Patty Savage of Peabody.
