Country singer-songwriter Pam Tillis, whose albums Homeward Looking Angel, Sweetheart’s Dance, and Greatest Hits each sold 1 million or more copies, will perform at 7:30 p.m. Friday at the McPherson Opera House.

Tillis is the daughter of country legend Mel Tillis. She made her debut at the Grand Ole Opry at age 8. She has released 10 studio albums, a Christmas album, and six compilation albums.

The concert is titled “An Acoustic Evening with Pam Tillis.” The idea for an acoustic set came from fans, and she liked the idea because it was how she started her career.

“I sang in every coffee house in Nashville,” she said.
