Pizza nights set at Peabody American Legion
Peabody American Legion will kick off its annual pizza nights starting 5 to 8 p.m. Friday.
The pizza nights had a late start this year due to flooding damage from last year, according to legion leader and Peabody city council member Jay Gfeller.
“We’re getting a late start because we had to rebuild some things,” he said.
Pizza nights are open for members of the legion, their families, and guests. There is no cover cost.
Families with children are invited, but no children will be allowed after 9 p.m.
“That doesn’t usually happen,” Gfeller said. “We’re an older crowd so we all go home at 9 to go to sleep.”
