Pickens wins three races at Pretty Prairie

The Peabody-Burns High School track squad traveled to Pretty Prairie Friday to compete in the Crosley Invitational.

Lauren Pickens continued her winning ways with three first-place finishes — 100-meter dash with a time of 12.25 seconds; 200-meter dash, 26.02; and 400-meter dash, 61.27.

Isaac Burnett earned the top spot for his shot put throw of 42 feet, 8 inches.

Another first place was earned by Josh Klarmann in the 800 with a time of 2:07.04.

Results

Andrew Sheffler — 5. 100, 11.78; 6. 400 57.7.

Sheldon Wiebe — 5. 800, 2:16.40; 5. 1600, 5:11.32.

Curtis Frederick — 2. 300 hurdles, 42.88; 2. Triple jump, 30-11; 3. 100 hurdles, 17.39.

Isaac Burnett — 2. Discus, 136-10.

4x400 meter relay: 5. Steffen Pospiech, Wiebe, Klarmann, Sheffler, 3:55.21.
