Peggy Beryl A. Razor Thies, 91, Overland Park, died Feb. 7, 2012. She was born May 21, 1920, in Marion.

She was a loving and devoted wife and mother, affectionate grandmother and great-grandmother, a loyal and loving companion, and true to many friends, and passed away peacefully into the loving hands of God and his angels.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Edna McNeil Razor; her loving husband Dr. W.M. Thies on Oct. 8, 1988; and also trusted and devoted companion of 12 years Paul Eberhard on May 11, 2003.

Left behind are her three daughters, Patti and Paul Pensabene of Holbrook, N.Y.; Cindy and Terry Slagle of San Antonio, Texas; Sandy and Mackey Mitchell of Edmond, Okla.; one son, Charlie and Stephanie Thies of Olathe; her sisters, the late Wanita and Bernard Selvy of Aurora, Colo., and Charlene and the late Tom Farmer of Salt Lake City, Utah; nine grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

The funeral was Saturday, Feb. 11, 2012, at 11 a.m. at First Christian Church, 2727 Crawford Street, Salina.

Burial will be at Roselawn Memorial Park.

Visitation was Friday, Feb. 10, 2012, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the chapel, 1920 E. Crawford, Salina where the family received friends from 5 to 7 p.m.

Memorials may be made to the Heart Association, The Shrine Temple of Salina, or The First Christian Church of Salina.
