The Peabody swim team opened the 2014 swimming season June 7 at Council Grove. The team came in second behind Hesston.
Swim team coach Tom Spencer praised the young people for training hard and performing well.
“They did an awesome job and had a great meet,” he said. “Many of them set personal records for their times and worked hard to compete well.”
The team will travel to Solomon on Saturday.
