Sept. 7: Peabody police took a driving complaint from an individual outside the city limits. The complaint was turned over to Marion County Sheriff’s officers. A subject was arrested on a Harvey County warrant.
Sept. 10: Police Chief Bruce Burke filed a case for a city ordinance violation. The case will be turned over to the city prosecutor. A subject was arrested on a Lyons County warrant.
Sept. 11: Officers took a complaint of criminal damage to property when a vehicle was damaged. The case is under investigation.
Sept. 13: A vagrancy report was filed on a subject in Peabody who is homeless and without means of support. A report of a burglary at a residence was taken. The case is under investigation.
Sept. 15: Police made a U.S. Military Records check. A delayed report of a burglary at a residence was taken. The burglary occurred Sept. 11. A report of inappropriate sexual activity with a juvenile was taken. The incident was turned over to Kansas Department of Social and Rehabilitative Services in Butler County.
Sept. 16: A local business reported a theft. The case is under investigation.
