Peabody police

Oct. 3 — Police took in a found cell phone and returned it to its owner.

Oct. 4 — Police assisted with a juvenile case at Peabody-Burns Elementary School; the case is ongoing. Officers responded to a report of dog bites. The investigation is concluded. The dog is current on shots and a city tag.

Oct. 5 — Officers arrested a subject on three Newton Police Department felony warrants.

Oct. 8 — Police started a case for health and safety violations and it was turned over to the City Administrator for action. An individual was arrested for domestic battery.

Oct. 9 — Police arrested a person for multiple warrants and driving while suspended.

Oct. 10 — An investigation was started into the burglary at the HUB youth center.

Sunday — Police responded to domestic disturbance in the 600 block of North Vine.
