A Christmas lights tour and Christmas goodies await residents of Peabody health care homes this evening.

Residents of Peabody Health and Rehab and Westview Manor will ride around town to see the Christmas lights, in a bus provided by USD 398 and facility vehicles.

After touring the town, they will enjoy holiday treats and hot chocolate at the Senior Center.

The annual tour is coordinated by the Senior Center and enjoyed by residents of both nursing homes.

Peabody Health and Rehab employee Lori Pickens said the center’s residents really enjoy the holiday tour.

“You’re never too old for Christmas lights,” Westview Manor activities director Echo Smith said.

City residents are asked to turn on their Christmas lights by 6:30 p.m.
