Class of 1962

Members of Peabody High School class of 1962 will gather Memorial Day weekend to celebrate their 50th reunion. They will get together from 1 to 4 p.m. May 26 at Peabody Senior Center downtown for visiting and sharing stories and memories. Members of other classes who might be in town are welcome to stop in and join them.

The main event for the class will be a dinner (reservations required) at the home of Vernon Klingenberg on Sunday.

Any members still in Peabody on Memorial Day will get together at the Memorial Day dinner at the high school, following memorial services at Prairie Lawn Cemetery.

Class of 1972

The Peabody High School class of 1972 is planning a multi-year reunion as they celebrate 40 years since their own graduation. The classes of 1970 through 1974 are invited to meet at 3 p.m. May 26 in the northeast corner of Athletic Park in Newton. Attendees should bring their choice of meat to barbecue, beverage, place setting, and a side dish or dessert to share. Anyone interested in participating in a jam session should also bring instruments. Friends, siblings, and spouses all are welcome. Class of 1987

With 25 years of worldly experience tucked under their collective belts the PHS class of 1987 has decided to finally have a class reunion. Tentative plans are to get together July 3 and 4 at the annual July Fourth Celebration. Kelly (Henderson) Laramore, Morgan (Marshall) Marler, and Beth (Gaines) Riffel will be sending information to classmates soon.
