Peabody churches seek donations

Peabody Association of Churches is collecting new socks, hats, and gloves for boys and girls from infant to high school age.

Donations, including cash, can be dropped off at the Peabody Township Library through Dec. 2.

The association is comprised of five Peabody churches that come together to provide holiday meals for families and gift packages for their children.

“The number of needy children in the community is more than double over last year,” Pastor Rodger Charles said. “We would appreciate the community’s help.”
