Enrollment for students in Peabody-Burns school district will be next week at the high school gymnasium.
Students may enroll anytime from 8 a.m. to noon, 1 to 5 p.m. or 6 to 8 p.m. Aug. 9 or from 8 a.m. to noon Aug. 10.
Specific times for junior and senior high school students:
JULY 9
- Seniors — 8 to 10 a.m.
- Juniors — 10 a.m. to noon
- Sophomores — 1 to 3 p.m.
- Freshmen — 3 to 4 p.m.
- Grade 8 — 4 to 5 p.m.
- Grade 7 — 6 to 7 p.m.
- Grade 6 — 7 to 8 p.m.
The district will accept Visa, MasterCard, and Discover credit and debit cards to pay for fees at enrollment.
The same cards will be accepted throughout the year for other school or lunch fees. Eventually, the district plans to allow fees to be paid online.
Parents with e-mail addresses can set up free accounts that allow them to view their children’s homework assignments, grades, and attendance.
To be eligible for preschool, a child must be 3 years old by Aug 31. To be eligible for kindergarten, a child must be 5 years old by Aug. 31.
