Peabody-Burns students celebrate music in March

Music in Our Schools Month is March and Peabody-Burns schools are planning musical events to celebrate.

This year’s theme is “Music Lasts a Lifetime,” emphasizing the importance of a balanced education and providing enjoyment for performers and audiences.

Peabody-Burns Junior High-Senior High School Instrumental Department will present a concert at 7 p.m. Thursday in the Brown Building Concert Hall.

On March 23, Peabody-Burns Elementary School fifth and sixth grade bands will perform at 2:30 p.m. March 23 in the PBES multi-purpose room.

PBHS Voices Dinner Theatre will be 6 p.m. March 26 in the Brown Building Concert Hall.

The USD 398 Faculty-Staff Recital will be 7 p.m. March 29 at Peabody United Methodist Church.

PBJHS soloists and members of ensembles performed March 3 and participated March 8 in the Wheat State League Junior High Music Festival at Elyria Christian School.
