Peabody-Burns Lady Warrior’s volleyball captured the Solomon Tournament title Saturday, ending the day unbeaten at 5-0.

The Warriors downed 5A Kansas City-Schlagle in the first match with scores of 25-13, and 25-17.

The hosting Gorillas fared no better in the second match with 26-24 scores.

Elyria Christian was the only team to last more than two games against the Warriors, forcing a third with a 25-17 win.

Peabody rebounded to keep its title hopes alive with a 25-21 win.

The Warriors then advanced to the finals with 25-20 and 25-17 wins over Wakefield before beating Tescott with scores of 25-21 and 25-22 to wrap up the day.
